Will Week 4th to 8th October 2021. GPW Tax and Law are again supporting East Cheshire Hospice.
What is Will Week?
Will Week is an annual awareness week designed to raise money for charities by donating the price you would pay for a Will to charity or to encourage you to consider leaving a gift to charity in your Will.
When is Will Week?
4th to 8th October 2021
Which Charity?
GPW Tax and Law is proud to support East Cheshire Hospice during this year’s Will Week. East Cheshire Hospice has been caring for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses since 1988 and is almost entirely funded through donations.
Why did we choose East Cheshire Hospice?
We work widely in the Cheshire area and this is a charity very dear to the hearts of those who live in the area. We supported ECH last year and were successful at raising £2,425 for them. Our aim this year is to beat that amount.
How to Donate?
The Hospice asks clients who want to be involved in Will Week to donate the amount that they would usually pay for their Will, although ultimately the amount of donation is at the discretion of the client.
The Will Week service only covers the cost of a basic Will and for many of our clients a basic Will is not suitable for their needs. If you think this may apply to you but would still like to take part in Will Week there are two other ways that you can be involved.
Firstly, you can upgrade to any other Estate Planning Service and we will discount the price of a basic Will, which you can then donate in the same manner as above.
Secondly, you can leave a legacy in your Will to the charity.
